Dino Boy's Birthday Party!

On Friday Dino Boy got his presents from us. He got colour changing hotwheels and a backogon thingy from Princess Girl, a trip to the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory play from my grandparents, a LEGO Star Wars ship and chapters card from the Reluctant Farmer and crazy fibre lady (still haven't decided on her name), and three mini automoblox cars from me (Google em, they're neat).

On Saturday we celebrated Dino Boy's birthday party at his moms house on a wicked cool converted school bus. Yes, a school bus. All the seats ripped out, a funky paint job, and gymnastic equipment. Image that. Pretty hard eh? Well here are some pictures too help you see what I mean:

After the fun bus we went inside, ate cake, and opened presents. Dino Boy got more LEGO, Bionicle, build your own T-Rex kit, a wolverine claw, magnets, and a few other things. (And yes there is a zip line in the bus)

Today is Dino Boy's birthday, he'll get his presents from us tonight but then on Saturday he'll get to see his cake at his party:It's the coolest cake your ever gonna see, it's all edible giant pieces of LEGO! I think he's going to love his cake, what do you think of it? Give the credit to The Reluctant Farmer, he made it all, I just helped decide where the peices should go and what colour grey dots should be :)

Back From Saskatchewan

Yesterday we all arrived home after a twelve hour drive from Saskatchewan where we visited The Reluctant Farmer's parents. We all went, me, Dino Boy, Princess Girl, the Reluctant Farmer, and my mom. They live by a lake and we went fishing a lot while we were there. It was a bad fishing year but I did manage to catch a fish.

So while I was there I got to drive the boat a bit (it has a top speed of 33mph, hehehe) and I also got to drive an ATV. Princess Girl wasn't a big fan of fishing but she loved to go fast in the boat so we did that a few times. Dino Boy liked fishing and going fast. Me, well I liked fishing and going fast was fun too. But now we got my mom hooked on fishing (not literally though, haha) so we might go fishing again soon. Canadian Tire has fishing rods on sale so we are going to head over there too.
